About Nicky Ladanowski...
Nicky Ladanowski is an English LA-based actress and writer who was classically trained at the prestigious ‘Central School of Speech and Drama’ in London.
She is known for both her comedic and dramatic abilities in numerous award winning television shows, film and theatre.
Her stage debut was at The Royal National Theatre in Arthur Miller’s ‘Death of a Salesman’ alongside Alun Armstrong and Mark Strong. She also appeared in The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of ‘Coriolanus’ at The Barbican in London.
Nicky's first TV role was for the BBC in mystery crime drama ’Jonathan Creek’. What followed was an extensive range of TV and Films roles in both comedy for the BBC including: ‘People like Us’, ‘Paradise Heights’, The Eustace Brothers’, ’Grease Monkeys’, ’Extra’s’ (BBC/HBO) and live studio audience comedies such as “My Family’, ‘According to Bex’ and ‘Little Miss Jocelyn' and for Sky TV including ‘Harry on the Boat’.
Nicky’s dramatic roles include ‘Dream Team’ also for Sky TV and Crime Dramas for ITV such as ‘Law and Order UK’ and ’The Bill’. Medical Drama’s for the BBC such as ‘Casualty’, ’Holby City’ and ‘Doctors’ and Serial Drama’s such as ’Coronation Street’, ‘Hollyoaks’, ‘Brookside’ and ‘Waterloo Road’.
Nicky’s film roles include Bella in thriller ‘Appetite’, Sylvia in period drama ‘These Foolish Things’ and Jenny in ‘Micah’ alongside Daniel Kaluuya for Channel 4.
Her further theatre roles include Amelia Sedley in William Makepeace Thackery’s ‘Vanity Fair’ at The Chester Gateway and ‘Cherished Disappointments in Love’ at The Soho Theatre.
She also adds BBC Radio 4 play ‘Needles and Pinsa’ to her long list of credits as well as the comedic series of chocolate ad campaigns for Bendicks ‘Mingles’ and Bendicks ‘Gorgeous’ chocolates.
